We take pride in our long and storied history. Charles “Bud” Erickson founded the company in 1977, initially naming it Bud Erickson Associates. The company’s founding training programs included the Keys of Communication, Keys of Communication II, Problem Solving & Decision Making, and Analytic Problem Solving seminars. These seminars remain largely the same today as they were initially taught in 1977.

In 1989, K. Allan Erickson joined ETI as a Sales and Training Associate, and eight years later, he became the owner after Bud sold the company to him. Through his leadership, the organization expanded its reach, with Allan holding in-house seminars, public workshops, and Train the Trainer certification trainings for organizations operating in the United States, Canada, England, Saudi Arabia, India, Kurdistan, and Taiwan.

The original company name, Bud Erickson Associates, was changed to Erickson & Company in 2003. However, with the relocation of its operations to Taiwan in 2021, Erickson Training International Ltd. was eventually adopted. This year, the company relocated to Madison, WI, where it officially became known as Erickson Training International, Inc.
